he continent of Lurris began with the races of Humans, Elves and Orcs living in isolated cities. The magical essence of Aer that filled both their veins and their spirits was synchronized to a state of balance, blessing them with good health

and morale. There were battles between races, some large and some small, but the world carried on day by day as each continued to learn and expand their territory.

hen came the unexplainable apocalypse. The dark meteor Baehoman crashed into the innocent terrain, bringing with it excess amounts of Aer from beyond the spirit world where the gods lay watching. With this collision, Aer all over the continent was scattered and divided. Many died as their very life force was drained from their bodies, and others acquired more power than possible for their bodies to control. In time, these extremes settled and the deaths slowed, but the imbalance of Aer is still present, and is incredibly dangerous.

he races of the world had been wary of each other since the Battle of Arcas, and the added stress of the meteor strike proved too much for political leaders to handle. Communications broke down as the world divided in the face of disaster. So began the Baehomic War.

wo Great Mages have stepped forward presenting unique ways to deal with the excess Aer brought forth by Baehoman. Great Mage Vastellyn has developed a

method for purifying and disenchanting Aer for the purpose of restoring balance by removing the excess, and has distributed this method to the holy priests of the world, while Great Mage Kalam has devised a way to fuse pure Aer into the body and mind, allowing tremendous power and wealth. He has spread this technique to his followers around the world, and now, Lurris is faced with a greater conflict than ever before, one that could uproot the very foundations of the world.
