Being a single parent as mainly left me playing F2p mmo's like Gates of Andaron, Runes of Magic, and Requiem Bloodymare. but after finding out about this game and reading up on it i would be willing to go P2P. This game looks like one im going to really enjoy

There really aren't many of the FPS type MMORPGs to chose from now. Planetside 2 is some way off and maybe the only contender at the moment for those looking for something that isn't clunky or features a Korean level of grind. There are certainly a lot of auto/tab targetting MMORPGs around so I'll be quite sad to see yet another MMORPG go down that tiresome route. I would assume that the lack of FPS MMORPGs is a reflection of the demand of that style of game. I personally do not like them because I feel blind when I play. The field of view is just not enough to make up for the lack of peripheral vision, and I just get annoyied I can't see over my sholder. |

Quote 1. So i understand that if i want to be range for example ill use a bow to max range skills but how ill get new skills? I need to gain points for range for example to gain new bow skill? Im not 100% sure what you are asking here. I think you are asking if the skill-based leveling system and the ability system are interconnected? In a way, they are, however, skills level differently. Skills are arranged into chains, you learn the first skill in a chain from a trainer NPC, this opens up the chain for use and advancement. If you use any skill within a chain, it counts towards gaining the next skill in a chain. Once you use skills within a single chain enough, you will gain the next skill in the chain. Each skill also levels independently, gaining strength as you use it. Quote 2. If i create a healer i can wear only robe or i can go for plate armors? If i play a rogue i can wear only leather or heavy armor to? Last thing ill want will be a game where everyone is wearing heavy armors. Cheesy You can wear whatever you want, however as some people have mentioned, using heavy armor will limit your ability to cast spells at their full potential. This is just one example of how your equipment can affect your abilities. Quote 3. Whats the actually endgame at this mmorpg? So i understand that u make pvp to develope and maximize ur skills but what u will do when u have max lvl? Most of mmorpg's are played only for what they offer after u reach max lvl so what this game offers u? We have a number of high level areas such as dungeons, etc. There is also, as you mentioned, PvP. Obviously there is a finite level of developer made content, as in any game. Quote 4. There will be an Europe server after all? This is yet to be decided. I hope this has helped to answer your questions. |

To let you all know, we have encountered an issue with our hosting company capping our email sending limit. Our emailer is tripping their anti-spam system if we send any more than 100 emails per hour. Therefor, we are sending acceptance emails in lots of 100. This means you may not receive your keys until either tomorrow or (potentially) the day after. We have contacted our host in an effort to temporarily disable the anti-spam system and are looking into moving our email daemon to our dedicated servers. While that would fix the problem, the DNS can take a lot of time to propagate. We thank you for your patience and please do not be alarmed if your email does not arrive today, we are doing everything we can!

The emails have not been sent yet. We will be taking all day today to manually process them. We do have thousands of applications to sift through, so please be patient. thanks for the update! but thousands of applications , that is a lot ... seems like this game has some seroious interest in the mmo community It's certainly caught mine! Here's to hoping...is checking my email every five minutes considered obsessive? |

First, Unless you know how many beta waves there are planned you don't know what "second open beta" means, oh and it's wave 2 of closed beta, not open. Second, expecting the devs to come here and answer questions on info readily available is... well, you know. From the main page: Quote Classless Characters n Aerrevan, your character does not have a defined class. Instead, your actions and preferred skills dictate your character's strengths and weaknesses. Choose from 14 skill categories each with 25 unique spells and skills allowing you to create your ultimate character! There are absolutely no restrictions on what skills you can use, want to make an Orcish archer mage that wears full plate armor? Go ahead! By using your own unique set of skills, your character will become stronger in their own way, ensuring a balanced gameplay experience no matter how you choose to play. Having played Darkfall, this system as described seems very similar. As the above description is just a short blurb on the skills system, I don't expect it to go in depth on whether or not there are penalties for heavy armor use with magic or if there is a skill cap, but given the description, it seems it's all open. |
