What is Aerrevan? errevan is a brand new Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) being developed by CubeForce Media, an independent game studio based in Canada. Aerrevan takes place on the continent of Lurris in a world shattered by the onset of a magical force known as Aer. Aer has strong magical qualities, but is also highly toxic to the body. It has been four years since the Baehoman meteor struck Lurris, bringing with it this toxic element. When the meteor struck, Aer was unevenly dispersed around the world, many died as their very lifeforce was stripped from their bodies, and others became mutated, turning into horrible creatures. Everything from the wildlife to the long dead has felt the effects of Aer. n the years before the meteor strike, Lurris was hardly in a state of peace, the three races of the world, Humans, Orcs, and Elves were held together with weak political arrangements made by their leaders. Today, a new level of alliance has formed. Two men have come forth with solutions to long term survival in an Aer-inflicted world. Great Mage Vastellyn, one of the oldest and wisest mages in the world, has devised a method to neutralize excess Aer and purge it from the world, ultimately ridding Lurris of Aer altogether. On the other hand, Great Mage Kalam, a mysterious and horrifically powerful mage, aims to harness the power of Aer and use it. Followers of these mages fight endlessly for their beliefs with no control from the racial leaders. These skirmishes are centered around the Baehoman meteor itself, resting now in a valley carved by its impact. The gameplay experience in Aerrevan is centralized around Aer and its effects on the world. What is an MMORPG? n MMORPG is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. An MMORPG is defined as a game where thousands of players interact together in a persistent world. MMORPGs almost always feature open worlds and non-linear play, meaning players can do whatever they want, whenever they want. MMORPGs offer thousands of hours of gameplay and the ultimate in player interaction. What makes Aerrevan unique? errevan has a number of new and exciting features, more detail about these features can be found in the features section of the website. However, Aerrevan is different not only for its unique player experience, but also for how it is developed. Because we are a smaller game studio, we interact with our community far more than big game studios. Gameplay suggestions by community members will always be taken into consideration. We also keep the fans completely up-to-date with what we are doing using development logs, something that is very rare in the industry. We want the fans to feel like they are part of the development cycle. What rendering platform does Aerrevan use? he graphics engine in Aerrevan is powered by OpenGL 3.0. What operating systems are supported? t this time we plan to release Aerrevan for Windows only. Since the game uses OpenGL, it can potentially be emulated on other operating systems with relative ease, though this is not officially supported. We have plans to port the game to other operating systems after gold release. Will Aerrevan have EU and US based servers? ur upcoming beta test will help us determine if EU based servers are required. We are commited to providing players with the highest level of server quality and will take appropriate action if our EU based players have issues with lag. Our servers are currently located in Atlanta on the Peer1 supernetwork.

What races are available? errevan has three races, Human, Orc and Elf. Each race has their own ancestral lands, rich lore as well as unique starting areas. How will PvP work? layers will only be able to engage in open PvP after they have joined a guild who is part of an alliance. Players can either join one of the Great Mage's alliances, or create their own. A player can also “challenge�Eanother player (of any alliance) to a PvP duel. If the other player accepts, an individual PvP duel is engaged until one player dies or both players terminate the battle. How does the class system work? n Aerrevan, players do not choose a class. A player's actions and use of skills/abilities dictates their strengths and weaknesses using a skill based leveling system. Instead, a player will choose their characters background. Some of the choices will include farmer, noble, commoner, and much more. Each background gives slight boosts to players starting attributes, as well as different starting inventories. You want to make an elf who uses archery combined with fire magic all while wearing heavy armor? Go ahead! What is Aer and how does it work? er is magical essence present in any living thing. In the right balance, Aer is a source of life. Have too much Aer, however, and you can mutate. The Baehoman meteor is the source of the excess Aer in Lurris, when it collided with the world it unevenly dispersed Aer around the globe. Aerrevan is set four years after Baehoman struck; meaning the imbalance of Aer is still very present. Think of Aer sort of like radioactivity. Aer slowly builds up in your body, as the player gains Aer they first become stronger, but after a certain point it begins to drain your power and eventually leaves you severely weakened. There are many ways to remove Aer from your body, ranging from items to a priest at a temple of a Great Mage. Will Aerrevan have player owned housing? here are no plans at this time to include player housing in the gold release. However, we may add this feature after gold in a major update patch. What is the level cap? e have yet to determine a level cap for Aerrevan. This will be determined after our closed beta phase.

Is there a monthly fee to play the game? es, Aerrevan will require a monthly subscription to play. The exact cost will be announced at a later date. What payment methods will be accepted? e will accept Paypal and all major credit cards. What distribution method will Aerrevan use? errevan will be available for purchase online with a downloadable client. We may have a retail launch after gold depending on our level of success.

When will Beta be released? he Beta client will be available to all accepted Beta Testers on June 14th. When will gold be released? he Aerrevan gold release date is yet to be determined. We will announce it on the main webpage after open beta.
